RIVAGES MEDITERRANEENS

¤ Compétition. Cette année, entre sept longs métrages inédits, venus de tous les rivages méditerranéens, seront en compétition.

MOVIDA

Mais si Arte Mare pique sa crise, Arte Mare fait aussi sa Movida. En privilégiant ce moment unique d’effervescence qui a suivi la mort de Franco, Arte Mare rend hommage aux ressources de l’art et de la création, à leur infinie capacité de renaissance. Depuis, le terme s’applique volontiers aux printemps artistiques qui fleurissent parfois, soudainement, ça et là.

Ainsi, de l’Espagne des années 80 à l’Argentine et à la Turquie contemporaines, en évoquant la Corse du Riacquistu, Arte Mare proposera une immersion réjouissante dans des cultures qui crisent à gros bouillons.

Victoria Abril , actrice fétiche de la Movida espagnole, sera notre invitée. Dès 1977, Victoria Abril travaille avec le réalisateur Vicente Aranda. Si la comédienne s’installe au début des années 80 à Paris, où d’ailleurs elle rencontre rapidement un grand succès, sa collaboration avec le cinéaste espagnol se poursuit. Victoria Abril a tourné plusieurs films sous la direction de Pedro Almodovar. Le film de Vicente Aranda, Amantes sera projeté.

Bernard Filippi, Ange Leccia, Jean-Paul Pancrazi à nouveau réunis, trente ans après qu’ils aient fondé le "Groupe Tox". C’est l’événement pictural d’Arte Mare. Une exposition événement.

Cette année, pour le concert de clôture, notre invité est la chanteuse corso-espagnole Josephina.

Fougueuse, enflammant sa guitare, Josephina et sa voix puissante, envoûtante nous promèneront sur les rives de la Méditerranée, d’îles en îles, d’une terre à l’autre.

LITTERATURE

Le Prix Ulysse Le festival Arte Mare organise depuis 7 ans déjà un prix littéraire : le Prix Ulysse. Le président de ce prix, Jean-Noël Schifano, notre délégué François-Michel Durazzo et le comité de lecture dirigé par Paule Rocchesani, ont donné à ce prix une notoriété certaine. - Prix Ulysse à la première œuvre ou première traduction d’un auteur méditerranéen : en 2006, Carole Martinez pour « Le cœur cousu » en 2007. En 2008, Guillaume de Sardes a obtenu le Prix pour « Giovanni Pico ».

- Prix Ulysse à l’ensemble de l’œuvre : Ecrivain pressenti pour 2009 : Jean-Claude Carrière.

En 2008, ce Prix à l’ensemble de l’œuvre a été décerné à Amos Oz.
